Legacy Leadership® is based upon The 5 Best Practices that enable successful leadership and community living. These practices of leadership are essential for every leader, regardless of their community or position. We all live in community. "Community" can be defined as any group of people brought together for any purpose, from families to large corporations. These practice areas define and capture the dynamics of successful human relationships and form the context of the Legacy Leadership® Model. They are presented in basic, easily understood language, so that even the youngest and most junior of any community can embrace their meanings.

This Model uses language originally designed for use in teaching leadership concepts to children (Legacy Leadership® for Kids). The language is simple and easy to understand, and we found that many adults were using it to simplify the Legacy Leadership® concepts in a variety of applications with various individuals and groups, especially outside the business and corporate worlds. There was a demand for such a simple and easily applied model, thus the Legacy Leadership® for Community model, which is generic to just about any practical leadership dynamic.
